Hi! My name is Tania Alicea, and I am a Registered Professional Nurse, a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor (CBC), and a student nurse Midwife.

 

As a mother of three healthy, breastfed children, I know first-hand some of the difficulties and challenges of breastfeeding. I also know of the many evidence-based benefits of breastfeeding for baby and mother, which is why I am so very passionate about breastfeeding.

 

As a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor (CBC), I support breastfeeding mothers in all stages of lactation. I understand that nursing is an intimate and delicate process for a mother to acclimate to.

 

My mission is to empower breastfeeding women with knowledge, wisdom and proven techniques for success. This includes assisting mothers to initiate good lactation habits such as proper latching, establishing milk supply and successful pumping.
